Before any meetings or exchanges of information can take place, we need to check to make sure that we have not represented your spouse in prior legal matters of any kind.
One of our assistants will call you to get some background information, explain how the initial consultation works, and to give you a breakdown of our rates.
We'll send you a basic questionnaire to get a sense of the important details and to be efficient with your time and budget during your initial consultation.
This initial one-hour consultation allows us to explore your story and your desired outcome, and gives us an opportunity to give you legal information and discuss the possible options moving forward.
If you'd like to proceed and we've agreed to take on your case, the last step before moving forward is entering into a retainer agreement.
After your first consultation and when you're ready to move forward, we'll fine-tune the strategic direction that we believe will work the best for you and your family. It's important to find the right fit.
We resolve family disputes in a cost-efficient and dignified manner and since we belong to a full service-law firm, we’re able to save our clients time and money when issues surrounding real estate, wills and estate planning, commercial litigation and corporate law arise. Visit our General Law Site for more information.
Hourly Rate: $275 - $550 / HR
First Consultation: $175 - $350 plus HST
In preparation for a consultation with us, please print and complete our Confidential Questionnaire.
